2) Plan your idea for a TV News programme aimed at 12-20 year old viewers.
  • Title: The Informer

  • Broadcast Details: BBC three, 7pm, 25 minutes, Daily

  • Structure: 1 minute Intro summarising what to expect among the next 25 minutes, 5 minutes on top  story, 5 minutes on next story followed with discussion for 5 minutes, 9 minutes on interaction with audience interaction and discussion.

  • Presenter: Young and serious because The Informer is a programme for serious teenagers.

  • News Style: Reports news relevant to teenagers and other stories that may effect them.
  • Examples: Tuition fees cut, Syria girls' families criticise police over letters, Leeds crash leaves boys aged 13 and 14 dead.
  • Package: Intro with graphics of the logo to start with and transition to the stories. Piece to camera and the presenter talking about the top story. Afterwards another transition to introduce the next topic with tweets at the bottom left showing modern technology.
  • Opening Minute: Graphics with transitions and footage of topic with presenter voicing over and introducing each topic. Another graphical transition to get to the presenter with wide shot of the studio to show technological superiority.

3) Plan how you will use modern technology and e-media

  • Modern technology will be implemented with tweets that would be related to the discussion and the presenter will highlight and point out key comments that could cause controversy and see which side people are at.
